Trifecta Piano Trio

Brandon Wilkie - cello

Pembroke’s Brandon Wilkie studied under Paul Marleyn at the University of Ottawa and Shauna Rolston at the University of Toronto. He was a member of Toronto’s Arkadas String Quartet and performed in festivals in Banff and San Francisco. Brandon is now based in Ottawa and has been featured as a soloist in the city's Music and Beyond Festival, performing Jocelyn Morlock's "Exaudi" with the Capital Chamber Choir and music director Jamie Loback. In December, 2014 he was also featured as a soloist with the Deep River Symphony Orchestra playing Saint-Saens' Cello Concerto in a minor. As a teacher, Brandon has recently joined the faculty of Ottawa's Suzuki Music program, where he works with young cello students.

Liko was born in Osaka, Japan, where she begun her piano study at age 3. Liko performed as a soloist with a symphony orchestra several times at her teenage years while studying with Reiko Matsuzaki, an internationally acclaimed pianist. Liko moved to Ottawa in 2000, and has been busy piano accompanying hundreds of strings and wind instrument students for their exams, recitals and competitions in Ottawa and many other cities in Ontario and Quebec.


Karoly Sziladi  violin

Karoly Sziladi is a graduate of McGill University, the Canterbury High School Music Program and the Ottawa Youth Orchestra Academy (OYOA) with many years of experience as a private teacher. He performed and toured with the National Arts Centre Orchestra for over ten years, was a member of the Thirteen Strings chamber orchestra and is a former concertmaster of the Thunder Bay Symphony.
